Every Hawkins County Schools employee was approved for a 2 percent pay increase in this year's budget except for one - an oversight that was corrected by the school board Thursday evening.

The final results of the competition placed Cherokee as 1st overall male team, with Daniel Boone placing 2nd and Sullivan East placing 3rd; Cherokee as 3rd overall female team, with Boone placing 1st and Sullivan East placing 2nd.
